Nice idea, nice production values - but ultimately, WAY too much going on screen to enjoy. Looking forward to seeing some more from you, that is, stuff that I can actually watch and see what is going on :-)

cool i ll try to be less chaotic in my vid :D but youll enjoy my other normal videos on youtube check them out and leave a comment if you enjoy them and what you wanna see next :)
Would have liked to see a bit more for opening the story up, feels like a super sneak peak of a trailer. Like others had said, text is uncomfortable to read, and definitely need a mute button option. I don't think the music adds anything to the comic, just feels like it's there for the sake of it.
Some of the motion didn't really work for me either. If you are going make a flash comic, how much motion inside of the frames instead of just moving the pages around? That would be nice, wouldn't have to be all out animation, just some motion. You could add sound but only where it's going to add something to the immersion.
Good luck.
thanks for the feedback.u had some good points, i'm still learning flash,i hope to have the kinks worked out by the time i post the next one
I'm not familiar with Whiz, but really, it didn't detract too much from the comedy. I'm guessing there were a few in-jokes that I missed. You had me chuckling a few times, but not outright laughter. The animation is pretty nice. Voice acting quality, spoken and technical quality are good, that makes all the difference between an average animation and good one. Plot and script was fairly tight, I just felt like the ending didn't really wrap it up for me - good have easily finished with the Pimp Gumby cruising off and Whiz wailing like a baby.
Look forward to some more of the series.
Yes, there were some jokes related to the celebrities. Glad you liked man. Thanks for lending ur time. I thought about ending it like that as well but wanted to add a lil more. I'll keep these coming. Subscribe to YouTube. Thanks much.
Nice concept piece
Great. Like the concept and the execution. Some inconsistency in style, but not that much of a problem that it spoils the movie.
Per previous reviews (7scars, Sandbagger) this kind of piece does not require plot, story, or any jokes.
Good collaboration - you should all work together again soon.
thanks, it would be pretty hard to achieve perfect consistency between very differing animators, but personally, Im happy with what we've got.
a lot of us really want to do a sequel, so I think that'll be in the cards. stay tuned ;)
moro
Awesomely funny
This is great. Nice style, good execution, perfect length for a joke like this.
Would like to see some more.
but you just said its the perfect length! now youve got me all confused!
Mostly boring
You artwork is fine, but your storytelling and pace is pretty ordinary. There a lot of these type of parodies on Newgrounds more of recent. You need to be more original, have your own edge or angle.
I suppose so, thanks for the review and your opinion.
Nice but
How'd you manage to get that file so large? Are you familiar with compressing images for the web? The only things I can see that would account for the file size is the background image and the music.
You shoud really optimise the background image, and try to learn something about audio files, bit rates and all that jazz.
I've given you 5 because I like your idea and your style would be cool once developed. You lost the other 5 to technical reasons.
You should try and optimise this file and upload it again to NG.
Cheers
hmm. yeah... thanks for the crit, I am used to just exporting as .mov's, and have never had to deal with making it web friendly (as I work for TV not web)
It's still certainly manageable to watch so I threw it up anyway, but for the future I will need to learn to compress better. If you have a link or two to some basic tips on how to "optimize" a jpeg and/or music without sacrificing too much qt, that would be even more helpful. Either way, I know there is a lot of info on this site to dig through when I get the chance. thanks for taking the time to help.
Drawing, and painting, wishing I was animating, doo, doo ta doo, dah!
